A number of outfield players took over midway through games when the starting goalkeepers were injured or sent-off.
Their appearances haven't been included here - instead, full details can be seen via the 'Emergency and Substitute Goalkeepers' link above.

* Jack Crelley was a left-back who played the first 12 minutes in goal in a 0-0 League draw at home to Man City in December 1904.
Normal 'keeper Leigh 'Dick' Roose had failed to arrive due to fog and his last minute replacement, Billy Scott, arrived late!
In October 1905 Crelley also took over in goal at half-time after Scott withdrew injured in a League match at Sheff Utd.

Hope Robertson played in a number of outfield positions for Everton in the 1890s - on the wing, centre-forward and half-back.
In October 1892 - with Everton suffering a goalkeeping injury crisis - he played the full match in goal in a 4-3 League win at
Newton Heath (later to be renamed Man Utd).
A year earlier, in October 1891, Robertson had also taken over in goal halfway through the 1st half in a League match at Bolton (see below)
after 'keeper David Jardine had been injured.
