Everton Players Who Scored On Their Debut
Present Season Back to World War 2

101 players have managed to score a goal on their first ever Everton appearance.
Tony Cottee took just 30 seconds to open his account in August 1988!
Some went on to great things for the club, Tommy Lawton and Alan Ball, amongst them.
Others disappeared without trace - Lacina Traore being the most recent example.
4 players achieved the curious feat of scoring on their Everton debuts - and then never being picked again!
They were Ross Jack (at Middlesbrough in March 1979), Joseph Kearslake (at Oldham in February 1920), Tommy Mayson
(at home to Chelsea in August 1919) and William Orr (at Derby in October 1889).
