Imagine having
to take a penalty in the Merseyside Derby. Blimey, what pressure!
Well, many players have stood up to the pressure and managed to successfully tuck away their spot kicks. Equally there have been a few disasters from 12 yards as well over the years. John Wark immediately springs to mind! Interestingly, since the war, Liverpool have been awarded nine penalties at Goodison whilst Everton have been awarded just three at Anfield!
