The normal Football League had been suspended when World War II
broke out.
It was replaced with regional leagues - and in 1944/45 Everton played
in the Northern Division up until
Xmas and in a 2nd Northern Division Championship after that.
In the 1st Northern Division 54 teams competed but only played 18
games each (9 at home and 9 away).
Match, appearance and goal statistics are not counted in any official records.
