The normal Football League was suspended at the end of the 1914/15
season due to World War I.
It was replaced with regional leagues - and in 1917/18 Everton played
in the Lancashire Section
Principal Tournament until March 23th 1918 and the Lancashire Section
Subsidiary
Tournament (Group A) after that (although the Subsidiary Tournament
match away at Liverpool
actually took place in January 1918).
Match, appearance and goal statistics are not counted in any official
records.
